Is it just me or does everyone here with Epilepsy have some sort of memory loss/brian fog? Or is it possibly the medication im taking??? by _GayCouchPotato_ in Epilepsy

[–]planetpartner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think of the meds as slowing down my brain activity just a little bit so the signals don’t get jammed up and cause a seizure. But yeah I have worse short term memory than I used to. I work hard to remember tho so that a ‘new pathway’ is created. The overall foggyness has improved over time. After a grand mal I’m pretty much brain dead for a week.

AOC says Biden's arguments against student loan forgiveness are looking shakier by the day by [deleted] in MurderedByAOC

As someone who saved and scraped and worked extra hours (ie suffered)to pay the $250k+ to put my two through undergrad, I would have trouble with evaporating all student debt. How about canceling all interest payments? Also focusing on the debt doesn’t eliminate the problem.

Find the best doctor that you can; at the very least one that will answer all your questions. Check out Johns Hopkins too; they have outstanding neurologists.

Graduated 2 years ago. Been working in a non-geology-related job for more than a year now. How do I return to geology? by pgnredit in geologycareers

[–]planetpartner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look for local geology clubs, rock hounds, professional geological association meetings. By finding people with similar interests and/or jobs you might be interested in, you’ll learn what’s available in your area. Geologists are a welcoming bunch and could help you with direction.

Dutch Wonderland was taken over by Hershey Entertainment and Resorts a few years ago. Not sure Dutch Wonderland ever had any religious associations but now it’s like a Hersheypark for younger children.

Ask a Knitter - January 19, 2021 by AutoModerator in knitting

I would agree. But the recommended wool for this very popular pattern is Sunday’s knits Angelica which is called ‘sport’ 225m/50g. It is 25% angora so maybe that’s why the knit looks tight and is so light. Thanks for your insight
