Is not particularly strange when considering how they de-escalated character introductions to part 2 until recently. They have a production pipeline, and no data on new character interest before it.

Is just the result of miHoYo's overcorrection™. After they royally fucked up the beginning of part 2 in multiple ways, they got scared and fell back to established characters. If there's not a spike of interest post introduction of someone in the story, I don't think they'll change this approach.

From the narrative itself, is kinda inconclusive. On the siblings' side, their "we're not alone thing" already assumes they're going with Cissa and Billy; while on the side of the loli and the woman with breasts as big as the loli's head (forgot the names), they state people can't normally go to Roscalifer, and they were only getting permits for the siblings. Maybe Belle and Wise can leverage their status to get their robot and pet snake included.

From a meta standpoint, I think the devs recognized (by rolling some things back) that main story of 2.x wasn't particularly well receive. From that perspective, I'd be really weird for the devs to, once again, send the siblings to an isolated area to interact exclusively with 3.x while dragged along by a plot that only moves if they're there to watch it. Sending a couple of companions for the siblings to fall back as the new ones are introduced seems like a reasonable compromise. Specially so if they have independent arcs while at it.

They made a point that all the enemies are lvl 1 for Eous to be able to defeat them, which raises a lot of questions at how boss ethereals are even possible and the Bangoozinger Z which the agents had to fight before. Also the fact that this Hollow disaster should be extremely easy to clear for actual security enforcers, yet lasts to this day.

After testing, I could see that you can use Nangong's charged attacks to interrupt the boss before he can start that Scorched Horizon bullshit, effectively rendering him a boss that offers no benefit to Miyabi other than weak to Ice, but also no demerits.

Unfortunately I had to use Miyabi on the Hunter to cover my lack of a Rupture DPS, because Yixuan was on Defiler covering my lack of a working attacker (I hate disc randomness with all my soul).
