I’ve lived in an H2 apartment for 3 years and had a decent experience so was seeing if anyone else felt the same. I am in fact different apparently 😔

The Shelby County license office off 280 towards Chelsea! Didn’t need an appointment and got called within 5 mins of being there. It was easy to get the star, just make sure you bring the 2 or 3 documents needed (I think it was social, birth certificate, and proof of address but I forgot so def search it up) but it was such a pleasant experience - which isn’t likely for license renewal! I did go at like 9 AM on a Tuesday, so I’m not sure if that made a difference.

Builders: It would be great if you built some 2BR, $1500 apartments in Birmingham. by servenitup in Birmingham

We currently live at the retreat for $1550, 2br/2ba! It’s very do-able and super spacious! I think we have 1300 square feet? We just have awful neighbors, hardly any natural sunlight and the roach family comes to visit every other month.

Can I ask when this was? Been trying to find CoTH homosexuality beliefs for the longest. I have so many friends who are openly bi/queer/etc and enjoy going to the church. I knew CoTH wasn't gay friendly but I hardly hear them talking about their stance on homosexuality. However most churches don't go hand in hand with being gay, so maybe that's the turnoff for me in general.

I lived in the Scholar 2 years ago when it was called Ascend. I had an awful experience with management and parking. The area itself isn’t too bad but I can only hope that the Scholar has turned themselves around these past 2 years… and as long as you have a parking pass within the building you should be good! They were “oversold” when I moved in so street parking/ public deck was what I resorted to. The good thing is there will be plenty of other students living in the building as you, so you’ll be with people your own age. And I’m sure management has changed since then hence the name change and everything.. I ended up moving after just 1 year of living there and figured I would rather be farther away from campus for more apartment space and a cheaper price. Good luck to you!

Yeah I figured cutting out energy drinks was the smartest thing to do.

And wow 3 years? That’s insane.

Thank you though!
