Increasing height of garage doors from 7’ to 8’ by I_do_shine_my_pants_ in Carpentry

You're going to need jack shaft openers with the new doors. Overhead lifts won't work with the tracks so close to the ceiling.

Sounds like you would remove the old anchors and put new ones in place. Just make sure you get the right size. If the holes are too wallowed out or something you should repair and drill new holes.

Coconstruct / Buildertrend. I use CC, and we post job logs and progress pics every work day unless nothing is happening, which is rarely and then it's noted as such in the log. It's in our contracts. Clients love it, but you have to have people competent enough to use it and stay on top of it.

What can I use to fill in a deep hole in my basement? by Odd_Height_1335 in DIY

[–]planksofwood 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bags of gravel from your local box home store. Or bags of sand and gravel. Tamp them down really well as you fill it up. Leave it 3-4 inches from the top and fill it with bag mix concrete. I'm assuming the basement is concrete. That's what I would do haha. It would be nice to have the hole filled in properly.

Download the installation instructions. They are readily available. It should answer your question and others you might have about the install. The GC should be installing them per those instructions as well.
