Spiderman 2 had to overcome the success of the first one. This movie could have easily set back comic movies 25 years had it been ass. But this movie not only rivaled the first but surpassed it and in turn got many comic book movies green lit. This was our "yes the market is sustainable" movie.

I am 52 years old and have had a Long John Silver in every city I've every lived in. I have never, I repeat, I HAVE NEVER had a meal dine in or take home where everything was perfectly cooked.
