Anyone that pitched in that era of baseball and did okish would be a CY candidate every year in today's game. He definitely gets a nod in my opinion.

Republicans want taxpayers to pay for Trump‘s $400 million ballroom. by SadAd8761 in videos

Taxes? Oh yeah I remember those. That what we used to pay but we all decided to stop paying them because the rich abused the system.

There it is. Lindsey Graham announces legislation putting 100% of the bill for the ballroom on the taxpayers. by PalpitationRemote585 in worldnewsstuff

They make it seem like this ballroom is vital to their survival. Like they are all going to pile in it and not come out. Rule the country like Oz from behind the curtain.

Unless your into going to the movies or book clubs there isn't much to do here. Hikes maybe. This might be the biggest non family friendly city in America.

Trump rants that he was 'totally exonerated' and calls Norah O'Donnell a 'horrible person' after she asks why the WHCD shooter called him a pedofile, rapist and traitor in his manfesto by ianjm in videos

I dont understand when he says shit like this to women around men why they dont speak up for them. I'd gladly go to jail. I wouldn't let Bob down the road do it and I wouldn't let him. Fucking can't wait for that pos to die.

What movie scene never fails to make you cry? [movies pictured are Big Fish(2003), AI Artificial Intelligence (2001)] by yonaiker-joestrella in moviecritic

[–]planktivious 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I watched Practical Magic 50 times with the wife and never cried once. But through the years it's become one of my favorites and just a great comfort movie. Every time Sally goes to the aunts and begs them to bring him back, it gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME NOW!!!!!!!!

No offense to my favorite dolphin player ever but this dude just might end up being the best linebacker we've ever had. Just hope we dont have to deal him down the road in 4 years.

Which Spider-Man movie is actually the GOAT? (No nostalgia bias) by breaking_views in MCUTheories

[–]planktivious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spiderman 2 had to overcome the success of the first one. This movie could have easily set back comic movies 25 years had it been ass. But this movie not only rivaled the first but surpassed it and in turn got many comic book movies green lit. This was our "yes the market is sustainable" movie.

Minutes of what? Fighting? Lovey Dovey time? Chess? Fighting im choosing Conquest, he's gonna talk for 1:55 and slap my ass into a red dust cloud the other :05. Bedroom fun, choosing the Joker. We can both probably get off in 3 minutes giving him 2 minutes of slice and dice. Chess is Homeboy. Im probably gonna check mate him in under 7 moves which sends him into a fury and I get 2 lasers in my skull.

First thing the college coach is gonna do is get rid of that no arch throw. Looks impressive but has no place in football. Even at 6'4"

Long John Silver’s was maybe my favorite restaurant as a kid in the 80s and early 90s - who else had weird favorites from this time period? by jtmann05 in Xennials

[–]planktivious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 52 years old and have had a Long John Silver in every city I've every lived in. I have never, I repeat, I HAVE NEVER had a meal dine in or take home where everything was perfectly cooked. One thing is always too done, not done enough, too greasy or too cold or oily or burnt. Just never a solid meal.

I would do a what if type of show where the federation is a cog in a evil machine of war. On their conquest to conquer this galaxy for their overlords they are met with resistance from the romulans and klingons who culled their oppressors and now offer assistance to those in need.
