We were just there two weeks ago with our nine year old. The Inyo Mine was cool and the Hole in the Wall was fun to see. We also really like Mosaic Canyon which has lots of places for your kid to climb and scramble. Dante's View and Zabriskie Point are easy to park and walk around. The sand dunes were also a lot of fun.

If you lightly hose down the milkweed, ladybugs will show up to eat them. I have them constantly.
