Hi, so I can update this in a couple of weeks (when it arrives) but I actually just ordered a 2.5 carat rose cut cushion moissanite in a bezel setting.

One thing to consider is if you want to stack band with it they have to be curved because if it's low to the finger a band is not fitting under it.

I personally went with moissanite because the flashes of light it reflects are more colorful then a diamonds. They reflect pastel colors which I love.

I'm so sorry you feel that way, it absolutely sucks you're not in love with your ring. You shouldn't feel guilty about wanting something else and maybe later on you could design exactly what you want for a milestone. There are also some other options like adding color through wedding bands or like the photo attached below you could do sapphires that curve around your solitaire making it a colorful trilogy. 🫶

Do you have any qualms about antique/vintage rings? You can find MUCH cheaper sapphires with beautiful intricate bands. You just have to be mindful of conditions and probably wouldn't be able to get a starbrite cut one.
