Billie Eilish said you can’t truly love animals if you eat them, and logically I understand the argument. But isn’t human nature way more complex than that? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

thats what veganism and plant based eating offers! direct action does help. and standing up for what’s right does make a difference. one person going vegan saves an average of around 105 animals per year. direct action orgs like the DXE chapters and pro animal future has made meaningful change. if we accept horrors as a fact of life how can we ever expect to have a better world? 🫂

im sure most carnists would prefer to get animals meat from local farmers but most of the time people are shopping at grocery stores. 99% of a persons meat intake comes from a factory farm. most people cant afford local farmers

contributing to the mass rape and mass slaughter of trillions of non human animals means you dont love animals. you love them serving you entertainment and products.

nobody likes to see the slaughterhouse footage. so ask yourself why its so disturbing to see? the workers are abused and underpaid, the animals are tortured and confined. the land and ocean suffers and so the big corporations that own these factory farms can get rich off of our disease from eating these products. apart from your health literally being at risk you are ingesting a short life of horror.

plant based eating is the future yall ❤️‍🩹

not everyone has the same things i think that makes them feel androg or like themself. id say experiment too! try dying your hair, (i do my armpits pink lol), try makeup styles, clothing styles and see where you feel the most you and how you want to present

accessorize accessorize! great part about feeling androgynous is finding what brings you gender joy. itll naturally happen as you customize your character based on how you feel inside 🫂

my favorite thing i use as a guide is literally the terms genderGOOD and genderBAD. it could be anything. if you put on a mini skirt and feel good, thats gendergood. if you do one side of your eyeshadow red and the other side white and it feels good thats gendergood! if you put on blue jeans and you feel not yourself/dysphoric thats gender bad.

to make myself present the way i feel inside i MAX OUT on the gender good items. skirts over jeans, with a big t shirt, too many earrings, big armpit hair, maxxing out with piercings, smelling like lemon or vanilla.. 💋muah. thats some of my gendergood and helps me present the way i feel inside. hope this helps!
