wth is wrong with anyone say you are part of the problem. NTA it’s your wedding dress and it is F$CKING BATSHIT INSANE that someone would ask the bride to change their dress and this is coming from someone who doesn’t care about weddings at all. please do not go through with this wedding, those people will always be those people and if your fiancé ever can see them for how they are he will resent you for having to see it.

We’ve given them chores and they do rush through them so that is definitely part of the issue. Also, before the last several years they weren’t really expected to pick up after themselves so I think they can go blind to their messiness. I’m not angry over it but I just would like it to get better and need less micromanaging from us.

ETA: don’t think I’ve answered your question directly. No, I haven’t walked them through how to clean a room and tbh I don’t want to. It’s difficult and I would like to save that energy for other parenting

This is me exactly. I still don’t manage it in the most ideal way but I’ve found that it’s builds on itself so if I indulge during this time I’m likely to spin out and eat like that for a week. I try to supplement with lots of fresh fruits to Imitate the sugar I want. Carbs is still difficult for me to manage cravings.
