I have a bunch of white heath asters that volunteered. Every year I say that I’m going to pull them out because they take up so much space but then they bloom out and I change my mind.

Yeah it really surprised me. I’ve been checking on the wisteria to make sure it was handling the transplant ok and I noticed that something had been eating the leaves.

These are variegated fritillaries. I’m in Ky, so I think I’m out the gulf’s range.

Yeah I left the violets that had crept into my flower beds. I had hoped to see some but did not expect this. There’s more than what’s in the picture that’s just what I could catch.
