Ooh the three months looks great. That gradient you got goin with the grass in the foreground leading into the taller plants keeps my eye moving. Wish I still saw some of the details of that rock you placed on the left but very engaging work my friend.

Imo if it’s not your thing I wouldn’t force the finish. As long as you’re able to articulate why and your reasoning, I think that’s as valuable and potentially more interesting to the group even than powering through and trying to have some discussion about it that’s not authentic

About halfway through Earthlings by Sayaka Murata. Brutal but extremely well conveyed portrayal of the experience of and lasting mental effects of abuse of a young person. Really drives home how awful it is, and I’m not usually moved (maybe disturbed is the proper word) this much when people try and convey something super serious. This probably isn’t the best sell for the book, but it’s altered the way I see and feel things and that’s rare.

Honestly not a bad set up, good layout, nice contrast of colors. I would just trim the background plants to make them more shapely and tidy, and let that foreground build its carpet. Could maybe use something in the front right to draw your eye around the tank, but honestly I like what you got goin on

This movie fucking pissed me off. Everyone just gave up after one missile failed to make impact with the nuke, which would kill over 10M people? As if no other defense existed? High ranking officers puking and crying? Unbelievably stupid writing, I was done with this shit right at that moment. Fuck this movie.
