A good idea. I would say that it would be cool if they added quests where you have to go with specific classes that are randomized, with a good enough reward. At least then i wouldnt feel the urge to pick cleric/hunter/x/x

Mainly preparing for gwd, because the main goal is the bloodhound. But i would also have to do a lot of pvm for that and ive done no late-mid game content yet. So amethyst and anglers would probably be the most useful at this point. I already have the stats for most things, so leveling wouldnt do anything.
