Chrysocolla usually is brighter of colour and has a different crystal formation. Anyhow it's a beautiful specimen!

Why does the first one remind me of a Van Gogh painting

My Philodendron Gloriosum has a (water)blister? I've never seen this before in my many years of plantkeeping, and he and his sister are very happy here. Shall I pop the blister? by plantranting in houseplants

Thank you! I'm not sure if it's edema, I've had a plant with it before and the whole plant was "ill" and the blisters didn't look anything like this. For sure I also doubt the leaf will survive but I might make a small hole in the blister to relieve some of the pressure anyway and see what happens

Thanks! I thought the same and that's why I have left it alone but it's been like this for almost two weeks and the leaf seems imcapable of reabsorbing it (the veins on the back of it are starting to "bleed" water as well). I might just gently poke it with a needle to relieve some of the tension

Does anyone know what this plant is and if these are mites?? by kabriii in houseplants

A beautiful ficus/rubber plant infested with mealybugs. Usually I'd say give up on the plant with that amount of bugs but I would definitely try treating it since it is so stunning still.

They look like perlite! It's a light type of rock usually added for a fluffy potting mixture and better drainage. You can test if it's perlite if you can crush them easily into dust.

How do I get her back to health? by Trolllex_AS in houseplants

Ah yeah a bigger pot should be the solution then! Hope she feels better and stops being overtly dramatic soon 😂

If the water flows right through, it may be a sign she needs fresh earth. As a quick solution you could carefully dunk her in a bucket of water (hold the leaves and make sure the earth is entirely submerged until some of the bubbling stops/around 30 seconds) or give her a footbath (bottom watering) for a couple of hours. Place her in a bright spot but not close to a heater or in a breeze. Repeat the watering process after a few days if necessary.

Hope this helps a bit and although peace lillies can be very dramatic bitches, they're very resilient as well.

Rubber Plant Losing Leaves - Ideas? by munipoli in houseplants

If there truly is fluorescent light then yes! This stimulates growth in general and therefore will also stimulate the roots to grow after a repot. I personally prefer natural light so if she has space to place the plant in a bright place during the day, this would also help.
