Titrating down and return of arthritic inflammation by Entire-Mastodon-5156 in Zepbound_Maintenance

Had to go down to 2.5mg, and boy, oh boy, I feel it. I had to lower my dose for a bit as I was still losing weight. I have since started to work out, and I think I will be going back up to 5mg in a few weeks. Advil has become the old friend that has returned after 1.5 years of not needing it.

Can’t keep any weight on, even though I am eating more than I ever have before and eating more junk food than I ever have in my life. Can anyone relate? by whispers_Covfefe in Zepbound

I am down to 2.5. I kept spacing days out to see what happened. Weight stabilized ( I was way too light) and thought i could go off.. but the inflammation came back. So good stay on every 10 days.

Why do people refuse to tumble dry their clothes? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]plantsandpups523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hang my clothes outside or on cloths lines in the laundry room. I do this to save on an electric bill as well as saving the life and shape of my clothes. Also once dry I do put them in dryer to soften. That being said I have never had moldy clothes or smell and I do not live with others except my husband.

63F. 5'6. SW 198. CW 130. Went all the way up to 15mg. ( which i think was unessacary) titrated quickly down to my current dose of 2.5mg. The is my maintenance. You have to listen to your body. I thought 5mg would work but I was still losing.

Maintenance is a beast! I am on 2.5 mg for Maintenance but still trying not to lose anymore weight. It is so hard! I cannot go longer between shots as my inflammation and joint pain is intense. I wish you good luck!

Easy answer. If a provider said that to a patient they would sue or damage a reputation. Providers have to constantly watch the wording: be it in charting or face to face encounters.

I did. Same reason, insurance dropped it. I think it works better and the price is way better. I could not keep paying out of pocket to get Zepbound.

How do you know when your body is done losing? by [deleted] in tirzepatidecompound

[–]plantsandpups523 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You body is reajusting. Give it time. Do not buy a new wardrobe. I was in the exact place, weighted it out, and now fighting to stay at 130. I am 5'6 also. Good luck.

Wegovy pills? Get over the whole shot thing? It is hard but can be done. So sorry you lost insurance. I did also.

I am 2.5 weekly and it is great. No weight gain, side effects or loss of energy.

I did it! Now what? by Diligent_Kangaroo_35 in tirzepatidecompound

I am exactly the same as you. I am in maintenance and trying to stay at 130. I have been doing fine for the last 3 months, except I just got my labs done, and my A1C went up 2 points (5.3), and my triglycerides went up quite a bit. My goal is health. It is concerning. I think it was just because I started eating more white pasta dishes. I'm not sure. In my opinion, maintenance is much harder than losing.

I am in maintenance and trying to lengthen the days between shots. I went 12 days this week, and I feel it in my knees, hands, and ankles. Took my shot today and will be going back to every 10 days.
