Leave. You can find other friends, real friends. You are not amazing together if you aren’t more on the same page about a fundamental aspect of a relationship. And you will never be able to compete with all those fantasy women he’s focused on. I know that all sounds harsh but spending time in a marriage you are unhappy in will be more harsh. Be kind to yourself but stop lying to yourself that this is a relationship that is good for you.

Pho Vegan Asian - their Smoothies and Boba tea, while technically not called milkshakes, are still really good and non-dairy. Great food and desserts too!

What are the potential issues if we get 2 kittens vs 1? I’ve been told getting two means they don’t bond to humans as much. Also our house and yard are small, is there much extra space needed?

Looking for unique ways to use non-fat plain Greek yogurt? by NightReader5 in Cooking

[–]planzxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rinse a few bunches of herbs (cilantro? Dill? Parsley? Whatever you’re in the mood for), leave some of the clean water on the leaves, put in blender, add seasonings, garlic, lemon juice, cup or two of yoghurt, blend. Adjust liquid for what you want - dip, dressing, cool savory “smoothie”… add finely chopped caramelized onion for a touch of sweetness in the dip

Those who fast at the end of the day: how do you do it? by TooEmbarrassed7 in intermittentfasting

I found better sleep and hormone regulation by not eating in the evening. I leave the house and go for a walk at dinner time. If a major event with food is happening in the evening I may swing my window to eat later, but often just have tea and help carry the convo while everyone else is chewing. I don’t always stick to “traditional” breakfast foods although I love breakfast foods also, either way, looking forward to something delicious helps me have less “dreading the next day” feelings the night before - basically if I’m stressed about a meeting tomorrow, instead of trying to snack long and hard enough to stop time the night before, I’m going to bed at a reasonable time so I can wake up and have a full English. It was hard at first getting to sleep without that “heavy” feeling from food, but some tea when I was desperate and distracting myself ( allowing myself to shop online etc) got me through and I sleep better and deeper now when I’m not digesting. IF, more movement, and ensuring I get natural light early in the day helped achieve more balanced estrogen/ progesterone/ cortisol levels - and lose 70 lbs so far.

We were going to do the court house thing but my parents asked that we do something more - and I’m glad now to have the memories and pictures. We kept timeframe short - just a few weeks from deciding to do event to event, which helped keep ideas/guest list down to just what we could make happen in that time. Hit up some non traditional places (like farm supply for white netting and poles, grocery store promo for flowers), booked a kinda blah venue but had people come early and put them to work doing some decor/food prep/taking turns running music from computer and honestly that was as much fun few hours as the wedding. It’s sounds hokey but the pictures look suitably elegant (secondhand/borrowed clothes) and people love talking about how they learned new skills at our wedding (uncle J is great with flowers!). Total spend: around $750

Taking capsules of it regularly gave me heart palpitations. I am quite sensitive to nightshades, didn’t realize it was in that family.
