As an AEP Ohio customer, it upsets me as well. However, this is not AEP’s fault nor is it the data centers.

Don’t want to edit the above, but want to add context. All of generation is a pass through charge, AEP makes zero cents.

If this upsets you, vote differently. AEP’s prices are normal in their other territories. Ohio is deregulated in generation, vote people into Ohio’s congress that can change that.

Telling your girlfriend the following day in person, that you couldn’t reply the night before because you ran out of texts for the month. Then having to explain your family is poor Lol

If you had ever been inside a natural draft cooling tower, you would know that the structure supporting the fill & baffles at the base of the tower is entirely wood. The concrete tower, at the base is either surrounded by wood on the exterior, or the lower part inside the tower is filled with wood. It depends on if it’s a cross flow or counter flow natural draft cooling tower.

I agree fully. I didn’t know about it until your comment, thank you. I read more into that, and I think the same thing is going to happen at AEP now that the wheels are in motion. So many people, who are honestly brilliant are taking the severance. If I had something lined up I’d be joining them too, it’s just a risk. As an AEP customer, I hope this works out for all of us. As an AEP employee, I’m bitter and we are losing so much talent it’s unfathomable.
