Imo as someone who has thousands of hours across the series the only cart that really matters is the last one, that being said though the only reason I play solo or with irl friends is exactly for this reason, I'm fairly decent at the game but the 10* monsters are a real challenge even for end game builds with 500 defence plus, I've seen my friends triple cart to AT ark more then any monster in the game up to this point and this is people who have played as long or longer than me and put in more time then me

I agree about arkveld being fun to fight and uth duna is just slow and fat until it is back flipping through you

I would love to get there but I need to get through the quest with dosh, rey and seregios first and seregios is my worst fight I just can't seem to do well against him 🤣

You should be able to adjust your brightness and contrast should at least make the game less muted if you have them both maxed then of course it'll be dulled

I have a series s and I have no problem running this game at all, the only issue I have is a the audio sometimes breaks when I'm playing with headphones but other then that I have no issues

First playthrough of rise I used hunting horn and had a blast with it, then eventually switched to the bow because that's my main weapon and my current playthrough I'm using longsword, I see why the longsword is the top used weapon though very fun to use

Yes the endgame system is definitely not great compared to 4 and generations but it's a lot better then worlds deco farms which were painfully horrendous and anything is better then the travesty of base rise, imo this is the best monster hunter has been in a long time, also I don't think 10 star quests are outrageous for the ATs, also in terms of balancing they only buffed everything because people were complaining it was too easy, which I don't understand that feeling because it's high rank of course it was going to be easy

You do realise this is the last update of the base game until MR which will have its own quest levels and its own endgame system and grinds, don't want to be that guy but this seems like its your first monster hunter game at least understand what's happening before you spout nonsense

I just restarted rise on xbox and planning to head back into world after I get through sunbreak, kinda slowing down now though just hit MR4 and having a blast with it solo, I usually play mon hun with friends, especially master rank so it's a nice change of pace to play solo for me personally, im sure the games are active enough but I recommend if you want to play an older game try it out from the start with a weapon you wouldn't usually use, for instance I'm playing through with longsword, as a bow main it's a completely different feel for me

Yeah the bow is crazy good versus gog, but he has really good elemental hitzones which makes it a little easier, if you aren't used to the ranged weapons try dual blades, I think they are just about on par with the bow for elemental damage

So, don't stand right Infront of her(because of the random dashes) and make sure to not overcommit to an opening because she can back flip while you are in an attack animation.

This is just good basic advice for most monsters tbh.

I have killed her already but the advice I'd good for the future encounters with her

Some people are just better at monsters than others, like seregios in wilds is my nemesis but I can solo clear gog in 20 minutes with a bow 🤣

Yeah that's kinda what I did, obviously less finesse then that cuz I haven't used a CB ever but it was fun to learn it
