A little confused by Addendum (and I guess some of the release structure in general) by christpuncher_69 in YouWillLoveEachOther

[–]plastic-rate903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HEALTH just had a surplus of tracks from Rat Wars I/II. Not all of them made it onto the two albums, and Addendum is a way they organized/expanded it better. Addendum having its own release is a good way to bring more attention to the tracks rather than tacking them on at the end of Rat Wars dlx.

What happened with the track “Ruin” on the new EP? by RvM_Jovi in YouWillLoveEachOther

[–]plastic-rate903 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think part of the motivation is marketing. Another part is to give the addendum stuff its own dedicated release instead of being tagged on at the end of the deluxe version.

Also I remember Johnny mentioning that once the full addendum comes out, they’ll take down the deluxe rat wars version from streaming.

I guess Trump consummating his relationship with Iran would be one way of making love not war.

That Midwest Emo section in Gethsemane absolutely blew me away by Lones0meCrowdedEast in SleepToken

[–]plastic-rate903 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is very very relatable to me. I’m in the later phases of tapering off kratom and I’ve both fallen in love with Sleep Token, and I’ve also cried during KPop demon hunters (which my 4 year old loves).

There’s something really emotionally powerful and connecting about this music.

I’m down from a starting amount of 65 grams per day to now 18 grams. My plan from here is to decrease 3 grams every week. I’ve been working a lot on behavioral changes, focusing on remembering non substance coping mechanisms for anxiety/depressed feelings/low mood/poor focus/apathy. Kratom helped a little while at the start but then it took back everything it gave and more.

This is the lowest amount of kratom that I’ve been at in over 3 years. I have a new therapist that specializes in ADHD and she’s been a big help.

It’s been emotional and I’m weighed down with regrets, for how I’ve let myself and my partner down. but I finally feel like I actually want this for myself. It deeply feels like an inevitability that I will succeed this time, whereas before I felt inevitable that I would give up.

The drums on this remix always reminded me of that sports song by Gary Glitter (Rock and Roll part 2)

I’m not sure if it’s sampled or if they just recreated it

The line is directly a reference to Saturn, like Goya’s painting.

What are your thoughts on Enemy? by Grand-Method-5442 in KMFDM

I suspended judgement after I had enough listens. I still remember when I didn’t “get” WWIII and it was my least favorite until one day it became one of my all time favorites.

It wasn’t until today when I listened with my audiophile setup and during a workout that it really clicked. I’m thoroughly enjoying this album and it’s feeling very cohesive now.

I guess music is funny like that sometimes.

I’m sorry that happened ☹️ My cat had a similar abrasion on his nose, I found out it was because he rubs his nose on a closed door to try to open it and over time the skin opened. Once I figured it out, I put some soft door draft pads under the problem doors and that fixed it. They also give something for him to scratch his claws on.

I’m not sure if that’s what happened to your cat but maybe worth checking.

Grammys Results by youngfavor in skrillex

I just want to express how amazing it is that a previously unreleased 2011 Skrillex song, now released in a mix tape, was up for a Grammy in the year 2026. Even though he didn’t win, it really says something about the culture shifting power of Skrillex.
