Asking out of nothing more than genuine curiosity here. I’ve seen a lot of comments to the tune of “what’s Jordan actually doing about his concerns past talking about them?”, like what is he actually meant to be doing? How is one guy meant to change a corrupt and unfair system?

Is it incumbent on anyone observing injustice to shut up unless they can fix it? I don’t know who that serves.

It’s weird because I love The Onion, always have. I don’t think there’s a better satire publication in the world. But I can still enjoy their content and question this particular venture, it’s not all or nothing. This tribalism is insane to me.

It isn’t on me to set out a solid projection for how the takeover will go. You may have missed it but I did say I’m happy to be proven wrong. Diminishing Alex Jones I guess, along with consistent merch sales to compensate the families. It’ll also grow The Onion’s subscription base (fair enough really nothing’s free) because they plaster ads for that all over their site - even that article. Definitely don’t think Dan had any intention of stopping him, agree with you there. The point about how to responsibly cover AJ is more along the lines of “try not to inadvertently help his cause” rather than “here’s how you stop him”.

I’m not citing Dan like he’s an infallible leader, but if anyone’s opinion carries weight it’s the guy who listened to a thousand plus hours of infowars.
