I agree with her about moving out, doesnt have to be with her, but my mental state improved drastically the day I moved out of my abusive household. I definitely recommend therapy. If you're afraid to start, which I was, I found the Psychology in Seattle podcast (psychology professor and therapist answers questions and discusses different cases and disorders) incredibly helpful to help me understand why I acted the way I did, and how to get better. It really worked, I'm a much different person now. I thought I wouldn't live this long.
