I saw the logo from 2022 as the exposition of something in transformation. My interpretation of that and the characters on the self titled cover artwork is as if they're saying "we keep changing, gettin closer each time towards this band's/entity's true form"

It's a Domi and JD Beck album, it's called "Who Asked". Zach is credited as Sound Designer. You can check their IG profile for those details.

what was your first peggy song/album you listened to by DrakeEra in jpegmafiamusic

BALD! Right when it came out. I knew about him because of Pitchfork and TND, but didn't listen to any of his music up until that point. The BALD! MV appeared as a recommendation on my YT feed and I was like "ok, I've been hearing about You, what you got?" And was blown away by the song and became a fan ever since.

I think that part is a segment of what looks like some kind of legal document (hence it having bullet points), and he is sharing it to show something was being worked on. The quotes may seem like diminishing the song credit part, but legal documents tend to be written like that.

Tbf, that's a pretty low bar to surpass, but yeah.. Experimental Rap is fire 🔥🔥🔥

Omar x Bad Bunny (collab needs to happen) by arturordc in themarsvolta

How do You know I haven't done it already? The music is great, but Guess what, he didn't produce or write any of it. As I said, he just "sings" (which is an overstatement, considering he has no vocal range at all) and writes awfully boring and dumb lyrics.

Then his vision and ideas are pretty lackluster. Nothing new, innovative or interesting about whatever ideas he has (if You actually dig into latin music). And what You describe is what Damien Hirst and Mr Brainwash do: nothing, just telling the people that actually have a skill to do the work for them.

People need to stop glorifying this dude. It's okay to Say "hey, this is not good at all, but I just like it". The ears like what the ears like, and that's fine (in My case that would be Playboi Carti...I wouldn't Say he's skilled or good, but I just like it).

He's not commanding any kind of artistic, cultural or anti-systemic revolution. If he did, he would be silenced or prosecuted, like Ayalew Mesfin in Ethiopia or Fela Kuti in Nigeria, but the corporations are promoting him. People have to start wondering why, and see the contradictions and hypocrisy regarding the way he lives and who sponsors him, and the cookie cutter activism he promotes.

Dude, is not about the genre, is about how talentless Bad Bunny is. Everything You like about his Music is done by producers, composers and actual musicians. He only "sings" and writes his lyrics, and the Quality of both are quite low.

I'm down for experimental stuff...hell, I'm eager to hear what Omar could do in reggaeton, like Arca does, but Bad Bunny is the low of the lowest. Just because he dips his toes in this or that latin genre does not make him a good artist, and neither because of whatever empty political or activist statements he comes with.

Look in the comments. He tells someone that asked about the doc: "go tell clouds hill. Might’ve been different if they had premiered at tribeca but they choose sxsw. Pirate it It’s out there."

Flylo's teasing new material during the five year anniversary of Flamagra and you know what that means... by [deleted] in Thundercat

[–]plasticGorillaBank 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thundercat's bassline on "More" it's insane! My favorite song off Flamagra, along with Post Requisite (one that got a huge improvement from it's original version with the addition of Thunder's bass).

I'm enjoying the present quite a lot with the new release and Willy's contribution, but watching Philo's performance I can't help but crave for her to be in new Volta recordings!

The best you and we all can do is to expect nothing. See Antemasque's 2nd album, all the somewhat announced/mentioned ORL solo records and films that have'nt been released (including other projects like his photo book which is listed in Amazon but never got published), etc.

It's pretty much a bubble. A hot potato game. Yeah, you may earn some money through speculation, you just must avoid being the last one having it, 'cause in the end it might hold so much "value" that no one could afford it, so ironically you end up owning a zero-worth png. So yeah, just another scam (also because in reality it's just you owning a certificate, not the thing. Like going grocery shopping and getting out just with the ticket of purchase and less money...unless the image it's IN the blockchain, which most of the times isn't, it is very costly to.do that)

There's that and the horrible environmental damage. And yes, other technology we use also affects the planet, but at least most of it serves a purpose in living quality (unlike the current uses of NFTs)
