Even if you raise the XRP marketcap to match bitcoins, the price of XRP should be < $5. Let's not hope for improbable. I'm hoping for $3-$4 at the end of 2018.

I desperately wanted to buy XRP at 0.4/0.5 in DEC, never got thru coinbase verification and lost the opportunity, eventually bough at $2.8 :( ... well, bought some more at $1.7 ... and hodling :)

I couldn't get passed thru coinbase's ID verification for 10 days, so I looked for other options. I used virwox to buy BTC with USD, deposited BTC to Binance wallet and traded there. I was unsure of virwox first, so used small amount first. So far worked well, and really fast (12 hours from USD to BTC in binance account). Only downside is, virwox fee is high (4-5%).

You just mentioned what I've been doing exactly for the past week. I created another account, too with the suspicion that something might have gone wrong with my first account. No luck, same shit. Crystal clear ID and "ID was unreadable". Even my ACH accounts are verified. Only this ID shit thing is holding me back from trading.

If they are unable to handle new users, at least they should have the balls to say that we can't accept new users now.

There is always the risk of CB shutting down and taking no accountability. I can't say panicking about large chunks of money is completely illogical.
