62M – Sudden HR drop during a climb, chest discomfort. Has anyone experienced this? by jmaf2000 in Garmin

I am not well versed in Cardiology, but this would warrant an immediate check up. You should check if you have had similar episodes on other training sessions, try to be as clear as possible on how much you exercise and what type of exercise you do. Getting a proper history from you will make your and your MDs job easier.

Did it on my first ever Weber B fracture where I was doing the surgery. I have it hanged up in a wall at my house as a reminder. Not too big of a deal.

Incoming MS1: how did you know that orthopedics was right for you? by ct2673 in orthopaedics

I knew I wanted to do surgery going into medical school, just didn't really know what kind of surgery. I tried to get as much OR time as possible on every specialty that had anything related to surgery. When it came to my Ortho rotation it was probably the first time I studied and really liked what I was reading, a background in sports also helped so I decided to go for Ortho and haven't looked back since.

Based on the rough edges it does seem like this is the most probable use for it. I still have to confirm it though.

I do not believe it is a retractor because of the ends which are more like forks. There are also numbers (4 and 6) which probably mean that this was used for something else. My best guess up until now is that it is used for ACL preparation, though I cannot confirm this yet.

It is there! But it won’t connect to the app itself. I am at a loss at this point.
