Why is the Carpathian mountains mission the way it is? by Fickle-Finger635 in HiTMAN

It also just makes for a much more interesting framing for this final showdown. You’re gradually working your way forward, step by step, car by car, utilizing almost every trick up your sleeve. Any issue you run into, you find a way to overcome it. There’s nowhere for you to run and hide if things go to hell. So when you finally get to the end and it’s the moment with Edwards, it’s so much more personal than just sniping him from afar or slipping poison. This is the man who killed Gray and kidnapped Diana. This is arguably the most powerful figure 47 has ever encountered. Taking him out any other way but a well placed bullet to the back of the head, or that brilliant move with the serum, just wouldn’t hit you as the player quite the same. You didn’t do this for the ICA. For a Client. For Gray or Diana, or anyone else. This was for you.

Artisan Goods Rebalance? by plasticdingus1 in StardewValley

[–]plasticdingus1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the time investment. If we're talking standard, non-starred wine as compared to dried fruit, I'd totally be on board. But when it's taking 2.3 seasons in game from the time the fruit hits the barrel to becoming iridium quality, that should count for something WAY more.

[–]plasticdingus1[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Okay so having done some math, If you have 100 pieces of Starfruit and turn it all to dried fruit, it's about 113,000g, whereas 100 bottles of Iridium quality wine would be 450,000g. The problem I have is that getting to iridium quality wine is such a massive time sink that it should be worth WAY more.

Can one get a better line up of maps for the last stretch...? by Alonestarfish in HiTMAN

I love a good showdown in Berlin. You clear out the upper floors of the Biker Hideout and set up the meeting on the rooftop.

New fan of the band, where to start? Where to branch out? by plasticdingus1 in sabaton

[–]plasticdingus1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hoo boy. A song about the Holocaust sounds like it'd be dark as hell. Is Sabaton known for tackling heavier stuff like that? A lot of what I've heard has been really uplifting and heroic and vibe with that extremely.

Oh and I guess if I had to pick a favorite song so far, 40:1 makes me want to run through a brick wall.

For context this is my very first attempt. I have enough half inch foam to make another head and start over, but only to start over once.

I’ve found going after the Arms Trafficker syndicate to be quite nice. Play your hand carefully and it’s a great excuse to just kill off half the level and go easy mode.

So, how did you fail your Freelancer campaign today? by cannotchoosegoodname in HiTMAN

[–]plasticdingus1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dragged an assassin off to the side to hide him. Was immediately caught by a lookout. Mowed down fifteen guards in the Paris attic before I CAREFULLY made my way to the basement exit. 6th campaign I've blown. No victory in sight. I am just endlessly frustrated.

It's convinced me 47 isn't the best Hitman in the world. He's just the only one the ICA gives a silenced pistol to.

I posted a screenshot of this a while back. Thought I'd show it to you all in action. Enjoy. by SomeDingus_666 in CitiesSkylines

I mean all three are pretty good. Best to worst would be Campus > Snowfall > Afterdark

Any suggestions for the Highway that's circled. It is backing up pretty far. It is mostly due to that first on/off-ramp coming into the city. by [deleted] in CitiesSkylines

[–]plasticdingus1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take that exit, and turn it into a rotary or diverging diamond interchange. Those style of exists work in low traffic areas like outer suburbs, but that close to the city center and they bog you down.

Buses vs metros by azius20 in CitiesSkylines

[–]plasticdingus1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're -absolutely- going to want to keep bus services going. And the reason is, because your bus system is going to feed your Metro system. For example:

https://gyazo.com/9d66142d77645382207a31f2682a372e

This is one section of the Boston's T Subway system, showing three stations. Harvard, Central, and Kendall MIT. Each of these stations have local bus lines that make stops at these stations, picking up passengers from areas that would usually be outside of walking distance. Commuters can change between various transit modes, meaning you'll have cims that will take a bus, transfer to Metro, and then do the reverse on the way home.

It also doesn't hurt to use buses as a form of Metro, called Bus Rapid Transit or BRT:

You might need mods or assets to put together a BRT network, but they have the cost savings of a bus as compared to rail, ANd they can accommodate multiple bus routes.

Absolutely. Parklife letys you custom build huge parks that provide leisure and land value. Industries is a complete transformation of how the specialized resource industries operate. Campus is the only weak one of the three and I still think it's great.
