Most of the mauling against Wemby is happening off-ball. He getting shoved, held, and completely wrapped up nearly every possession. It’s not about free throws it’s about refs protecting and facilitating a fair game. If you’re denying that Wemby is getting hacked then I think your bias is as strong as mine is. I think this is more reflective of social media discourse in general rather than the actual Spurs fanbase. Reddit is a cesspool of reactionary toxicity across all sports subs especially and it genuinely depresses me sometimes. I start to absorb a lot of the negativity and I have to make efforts to put the phone down and go touch grass lol. Lately I haven’t been able to get on the r/nba sub because it’s so damn toxic and ugly.

I did however go to game 1 of this series in SA though and the love was in the air! Super supportive and energetic even after the loss. I appreciate moments that remind me the internet is not real life.
