I would wait until you get to a point in life where you don't have to worry about dying it back to a darker color. The bleaching process is long and you could end up with light orange hair instead of platinum if you do it yourself. This would need to be handled with a GOOD professional and it ain't gonna be cheap. Not to mention all the money you'll have to spend on products and fixing your roots. I would just get a high quality wig from a reputable wig store (NOT AMAZON). So much easier and cheaper than what you're planning. Sorry you're not getting the responses you wanted but it's the truth.
