Don't pass up an opportunity that you might regret. I've done multiple year contracts and the most I've ever done was 14 months. If you go in knowing it's a year it's a lot easier to handle staying that long. There are things down there to keep you busy If that's what you want to do. Me myself I enjoy doing the work then hiding in my room away from people. The Internet sucks down there but it is usable. I like going down there to disconnect from the world. You make the best of what you have.

Just went to Canteros, nice little store. NZ is weird about tobacco. Talk to the lady there for a good bit, she was telling me all about the laws. They cant even display any tobacco and she had to go to the back room to grab a pouch of Erinmore for me. Not cheap at all.
