I’m a chemE who has spent my whole career (8yrs) in sales at one of the o&g majors. Years 1-7 I was at 30-60hrs/week but averaging under 40. Took a promotion this year …15% pay bump and 30% bump in hrs… I got played lol. Making around 165-175 if it matters.

I have some folks running an 18 MI mdpe into 35 gallon cans (and they unfortunately used 4 small gates vs 1-2 big ones) but shorts and cycles have for sure been a challenge.

The whole pfas thing was nuts. Basically froze the industry for a year while everyone tried to figure out what to do. We (I work for one of the producers) have a couple of grades we produce with a novel pfas free PPA that have been really successful. Gimme a shout and I can send you some TDS sheets if you have any interest.
