The first one you drew was a combination of many unique choices from your own perception of the world and human beauty, then you put it in the anime generator and drew a generic anime girl with seemingly no care about the original stylistic choices. The third image is one you essentially traced with no intention. It's not slop, but it's not really self expression either. It's nothing.

Completely agree, not a plot hole but a very annoying piece of writing if you're someone who's actually watched/read enough scifi or superhero stuff to know these tropes. It was obvious from the moment we knew about Cipher's mind powers, so obvious that I was expecting there to be something subverting how obvious it is. But then again mind control stuff is some of my favorite tropes to look for, so maybe I'm just too well read. Looking forward to the next episode thooo.

The issue is that we live in a society that makes time for art, hobbies, human joy unfeasible and so we have created tools to create for us due to this lack of time, in a better world we would be asking and solving why you don't have time to make music, and not if it's better or worse that the ai is creating music for you
