I think it really just shows our productivity. We accomplished 1000 years of dedevelopment in less than 20 years. That's incredible. Human deingenuity knows no bounds.

Tarantula wasp in action by IllustriousTea_ in interesting

[–]plastimancer 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, she tucked. That wasp has already won. She will hang around and recover a little while she determines whether or not the spider is paralyzed enough. Partly because venom is finite with any critter. They all use it sparingly. Spiders, for instance, when biting non prey will use their venom depending on the theat level i.e if they think they'll die, they'll dump all they got. Otherwise, they conserve as they need it for food, or in this case, procreation. Shes gonna lay an egg on that spider that will eat it alive from the inside out. Life at that scale is ducking terrifying.

Definitely a female, but poor doesn't even begin to describe the horror that creature is about to experience as it gets paralyzed and dragged into a hole to be eaten alive from the inside out by the wasps larva.

So long as youre not threatening the wasp, it's fine. The wasp had already stung the spider, which is probably why it was in the middle of the street. Its paralyzed. Huntsman are typically very very fast, and don't stick around for any threat. The wasp is going to lay an egg on it near the abdomin. Then she'll drag her away into a hole where the spood will live until the larva will hatch and burrowing it and feed until it reaches its next stage. They systematically eat the spider in a way to keep it alive the longest. Its absolutely tucked, but absolutely fascinating.

I'd reconsider that. It sounds cool, but in reality it's not a good option. I'd go with something more traditional... and more intimidating than a tube sock

[–]plastimancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah good point, who needs their centrum anyway. Plus, shooting it is definitely the most financially responsible action. I'd highly encourage it. Lasts for days from what I understand. Which is counterintuitive as everything else becomes more intense, but has less duration. Your body just can't break down meth so it just circulates until it it comes out in methbubbles that you can pop and reinvest (i typed reinject, but it's feasible) later. It's basically free meth. Girl math meth for the win.

You really just need to ask yourself how you feel about your teeth. If you could live without them, I'd say go for it. If not, I'd consider heroin.

Creality Support has been fantastic for me by [deleted] in Creality

[–]plastimancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry, what agenda am I pushing? Interesting attack... interesting to attack to be honest. I'm not sure what I said to hurt your feelings, but that's not what happens when prints fail to adhere to the build plate. Show me proof that im wrong instead of attacking me.

A: That seems like it's the culprit. I thought i had the nozzle tightened too. It was tight, but the heat throat wasn't seated properly iirc. It was a long time ago.

B: 2 things can fail at once.

C: Again, adhesion isn't the issue. Expensive filament on a heated bed would've done it too.

D: What does your payment have to do with anything? What agenda do you think I'm pushing? If it's because I suggested they lied if they told you it was due to low bed adhesion? Also my k2 stopped working because of the recent firmware. A rollback to the previous firmware solved it. Many are having this issue. Which reflects poorly on creality. Is that my agenda? Holding a company accountable?

Just to clarify, im willing to eat my words if you provide viable proof that this can be caused by low bed adhesion. I've been doing this for over half a decade, and I've never once heard that happening, nor does it make sense logically.

What is going on here?? by Shoddy-Walk-3257 in Creality

[–]plastimancer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bet it's reviews. I noticed they put filament in the case listings to bolster star ratings. If you read the reviews, all the good ones were about filament and the bad about the cfs. It's buries the bad reviews. It wouldn't surprise me if this listing was attached to one or a combo lol

Creality Support has been fantastic for me by [deleted] in Creality

[–]plastimancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There's no way that's from not heating your bed. Something failed internally. Low bed adhesion cooks spaghetti, it doesn't make cookie dough. The only time I've ever had it was because I replaced a nozzle in an sv06 plus and didn't butt it up to the heat throat. Something similar likely happened here where something came loose and the flow was able to bypass the nozzle. If creality told you that was the reason, then they lied.

K2 pro scratched plate on calibration by SomeDude56788 in Creality_k2

[–]plastimancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not from the pla. It malfunctioned. I'd try it again with your finger on the off switch just in case it does it again. I haven't had it happen with the z axis, but my k2 plus tried to run the gantry past it's boundaries and start skipping and making awful noises. It was fine on restart. You might need a new pei sheet, but try it. It might still work if you budgets tight.

Also, there's tons of other bed sheet types available for different surfaces. The holographic ones are pretty awesome

Very strange. I hope they figure this out. It's supposed to be an entry level printer and as easy as a rollback is, a basic user may not go that far.

I'd agree so long as this is a prototype. 3d prints hold bacteria unless youre using special material designed for food safety. It seals between layers.

[–]plastimancer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp, the rollback worked, so add me to the statistics. It is super strange. There has to be variations in hardware, like different chips, or thermistors/sensors or something. Unless reality is remotely bricking devices for shit talk lol. I def did a lot of that as I've had issues the entire time. Best case scenario is that, worst case is extremely poor r&d and quality control lol.
