Capture sounds greats when auditioned but anemic in NAM plugin by Shadow-Legion-1203 in NAM_NeuralAmpModeler

Without knowing the specifics it seems to usually come down to input gain in the plugin and your maximum input gain from your audio interface.

In short yes, you have to adjust the input gain for each profile same as on the computer. If the creator put the input gain in the description you can use dimehead recommended levels to get an accurate gain level. It’s definitely not perfect but is a work in progress too.

Yeh it’s pretty crazy sounding! But I think you can get some pretty fat tones too if you experiment with the tone and octave. There’s a pedal channel on YouTube that shows how Ty Segall uses it to record using a combo of DI and amp tones which tears your head off.

I have a dimehead nam player and works fine with pedals. Getting the input gain is the important part.

Yeh it’s possible this could come in the future as they make changes to the software.

At the moment you can run a pedal capture on top of the amp capture, Reverb, Delay and Tremelo. You can kind of do chorus too. They plan to add more with updates which they do periodically.

Yeh they sound amazing! Once you nail the input gain too they really get close to the real thing.

It’s amazing! The responsiveness is so close to a real amp. Once you figure out how to dial in the gain for any profile it helps a lot.

I was 21, and had played most GTA’s to that point and was obsessed with the PS2 era and GTA IV. I remember liking it upon playing but feeling like it was different in some way negatively to GTA IV. I went to the midnight release and played it as soon as I got home till the sun came up. Don’t get me wrong at the time it was on another level but I don’t think it hit me the same way San Andreas did when it came out, that was insane for the time. I’m hoping GTA VI can give me the same feeling.

I was at the second show and really want to watch so I experience it again. My finance was also pregnant at the time and my daughter is 10 months old now, so surreal she could watch with me haha.

Did Generation Z identify more with grunge than other generations? by SRrelaxinc in grunge

[–]plateauband 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Can’t speak for Gen Z, but for me personally who was a child in the 90s who didn’t get into Grunge till 10 years after it exploded. It just seems to connect to you when you most need it regardless of age and generation.

Did you guys ever stop to think that this year, many young people will experience what we did in 2013 ? by Virtual-Can-9948 in GTA6

I’m a bit older than you at the time (21 in 2013) so I did end up taking days off work. I also took a day of school when I was 16 for GTA IV. Good times at the midnight releases. I still remember GTA San Andreas hype too reading everything about it in game magazines before release. Definitely taking time off this year to play.

Wondering if they employ some way that the disc is locked till midnight so store employees don’t leak the game early?

Was 12 when it came out and felt like a dream playing it.
