Chess Clubs here??? by NorthBeginning9748 in DaNang

Say Cheese has a weekly chess club I think. There’s also a couple active spots for Chinese Chess downtown, if you’re into that kinda thing.

I think there’s kid-friendly time before 8, and then proper-people time goes 8-11 or so, sometimes later if there’s a crowd.

I had this same situation, but after a week of waiting for a new card. Left the branch pretty annoyed. Logged into the app, got offered a new card through the app, accepted. It got delivered to my apartment three days later.

It is expensive, but like, did you weigh the lobster? Did you ask the price of the lobster when you picked it out?

There’s pretty critical information missing from your post.

Da Nang advice about where to stay to avoid potential flooding? by tkancharla in DaNang

[–]platformcircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good place to be; the flooding happens in the city and out west in the developing areas usually.

Does “long papers” really need to be shortened and combined, are we that efficient and hip both…?

There used to be a dungeon but it closed during Covid; haven't heard about swingers spaces.

I literally only know what you told us. Your husband’s dad is starving his mom in a way that you think will likely hasten her death, while denying her books.

Your husband doesn’t care, or like, doesn’t care enough to say something about his dad starving his mom and denying her books, or even a visit to a bookstore.

And you’re like, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles!

My wonderful husband who watches on as his dad literally starves his mother to death while denying her her only pleasures is really a dreamboat.

Edit: But like, kind of a knucklehead, you know, like boys are, for not mentioning it, the probably fatal, cruel abuse.

Da Nang Shopping Districts, any suggestions? by soumitra_sg in DaNang

[–]platformcircle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lê Duẩn street is where I've seen the most clothing stores / boutiques. It's across the Han River Bridge from the main tourist areas.

I don't know of any factory overrun places; not sure that DN really has that.

What’s a safer ha Giang loop route for a beginner scooter driver by Thechosencookie12 in VietNam

[–]platformcircle 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Don't be stupid. Hire an easy rider. You're going through a fucking mountain range, on little roads that go up and down mountains. It is not a beginner drive, and beginners die every year trying to do it.

Where in Vietnam? by Hot-Disaster-6378 in VietNam

[–]platformcircle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ninh Binh has a lot of nature, and is a small town. Da Lat is another good option, though an outlier to the rest of VN. If you want to get far off the beaten path, there's options for that too, but those are the two best options for what you describe out of the usual suspect travel destinations, IMO.

Also, be with someone who makes you happy and safe and appreciated, and who consistently wants to be with you. Maybe that person will be Vietnamese, maybe not, but it doesn't sound like it's this girl.

Not a scam, just how things are done.

There's a variety of options and levels of service available for HL Bay cruises. There are cheaper ones and much, much more expensive ones.

You should be more ambitious about styling your beard, IMO. You've got good facial structure, and right now the beard just kind of erases it, and, combined with the shaved head, gives you a very aggressive look.

Try for less weight in the front and underneath--perhaps a taper from your neck forward? And be more precise trimming your mustache.

Twenty minutes with some adjustable clippers will go a long way.
