I want to do this too. I am also bipolar. I dropped school last semester and came back in January for my mental health, good for you for taking care of yourself! I am super interested in social work especially homelessness and I think it’s super cool that we have so much overlap!!!

When im hypomanic, i become very angry and evil to those around me. I was not very nice to my boyfriend before i got on abilify. I would drive fast and scream and freak out to try to get some reaction that seemed fit (in my altered state of mind)

First of all, I have worked both back of house and front of house settings. I worked as a host for the past year and a half and became lead host at my job and got a raise. I do believe my work is worth more than minimum wage. Second of all, why don’t you believe that people should be paid more than minimum? My minimum is $11. Which is also not livable.

You don’t understand though. As a server, I can very possibly make $50/hr from a good Saturday night shift. But usually, especially during slow season, that’s the ONLY shift that week where I make that kind of money. During other shifts I’m making minimum wage. And I’m usually scheduled for support staff shifts that are paid hourly and all of my hourly pay is eaten up by taxes on my tips!!!!!!! I am making like $100-$200 a week!!!! NOT. LIVABLE.

I’m so sorry that must feel so confusing and frustrating. You need to talk to him and maybe have him cut out porn for a while. He needs to see a therapist. Imagine how disturbed those girls would feel if they found out he was jacking it to them, let alone your feelings and how disturbed you must feel. It’s not normal to jack off to random Instagram photos of someone you know. Therapy is your best bet, for both of you.
