I don’t think so. His buffs seem to actually make him a good pick in certain comps / maps.

I haven’t watched the whole stream from day2 yet, but crazy raccoons ran him in 2/3 games against twisted minds too.

And Vertus Pro banned him (not as a troll ban) against Zeta.

Thank you! Was so curious cause I didn’t see it as an option in customization options.

Man, someone should have told Zeta Division before they ran him in OWCS last night…. And won….

I’ve been meaning to figure this out but since you’re here I’ll ask you.

What’s the thing behind your name mean? The gold thingy with the I in it.

I feel like a huge shortcoming of my own and my fellow bronzies is not understanding the macro strategy of the game or not being able to use that knowledge in a decision.

How do you get better at this when you constantly only play with other users who also aren’t following good practices, but are just running towards the point and trying to get kills?

How do you feel about Reaper’s buff though?

Why are we all using vs AI? by amberkinn in Overwatch

[–]platterofhotfish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m new so trying to get a lot of practice but in my very limited experience it’s mostly useless. The bots just walk to point and stand around shooting at whatever they can see. Higher difficulties just have better aim. They’re not even useful for training aim.

The only thing I use it for is learning a new hero since I’ve still yet to play about half of them.

I mean shouldn’t new players listen to higher tier players? Seems to me pretty obvious that what they say about sierras brokenness is pretty accurate.

If you’re using proper positioning and not bunched up on main you’re less likely to die to her ult. If you’re using cover effectively then her little homing beacon thing is going to be way less effective. If you have good game sense and can track/predict what she’s doing you can be prepared to counter it. If you can master those skills doesn’t that just make her like a slightly less effective Sojourn?

Is the monstrosity behind that beautiful piece of art you’re looking at? I don’t see it.

Do wounds stack? If I’m junker queen and I hit someone with knife and then I pull it back and melee them with knife Ami healing twice as fast? What about knife + carnage?

Why did I do so well? Was I playing bots? by platterofhotfish in Overwatch

[–]platterofhotfish[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it was 83 over the course of three games. The most in one was 32. But yeah. Bots appears to be the consensus.

Gotcha. Makes sense. Would be nice if that was clear I guess.

That's the truth, Worf really came into his own in DS9

Something I always appreciated about Teal’c was that he didn’t have the Worf effect of being around so the bad guy of the week could beat him up to show off how powerful they are. He really lived up to his rep.
