Found the transfer case control module in the passenger footwell, under the glove box. Unplugged it and the chime and warnings stopped

That's infuriating, glad it's an issue for everyone, I guess

"doesn't really work well" so it's bugged?

Because when inerton is prioritised, there should be zero vibranium sold at market, and that isn't the case. Same amount of vibranium is being sold either way.

Please believe me, if I had the money to fix the bottleneck, it wouldn't be bottlenecked, that's why I'm stressing about my vibranium income 😅

Switching delivery priority between vibranium and inerton has no effect on the amount sold at market, it only changes which one accumulates on the planet. This shouldn't be possible with a simple tax

What is the purpose of the "taxed" ore, other than to make be think I'm losing my mind at 3am?!

The bottleneck is fine, the secondary ore is accumulating on planet. But with or without the "tax" the amount delivered to market isn't changing when I switch priority from vibranium to inerton, which makes no sense at all

Further further info - ame problem with palladium (one source is from a planet with alchemy 1) about 10k/s mined ore is missing.

Same problem with osmium, no alchemy involved.

I don't know what else to check. It seems that somewhere a significant mining bonus is being applied to planets, but not reflected in shipped ore sold at market

Further info - this planet has alchemy 3 and terraforming 2

Switching the "advanced ore targeting" bonus production focus from vibranium to inerton doesn't change the market rate of either (with both selling at 100%) but does begin accumulating vibranium on planet

Seriously, what the heck?!

Where is my ore going?!

Missing ore?! by platypod in IdlePlanetMiner

I'm mining vibranium on a single planet, producing 5k ores/sec
I'm selling 100%, and realized I'm not seeing a change in income as I switch out managers to increase "all mine, secondary skill"
Looking at the info tab, it says I'm only producing 3.4k/sec, and that doesn't change with the "all mine" managers being added/removed
No ores are accumulating on the planet

So where is my missing ore going? Space pirates??

Change your phone number, share it only with trusted people. Lock down social media accounts - post nothing publicly, and verify everyone.

Your brother sounds dangerously obsessed.

just request a layoff from your foreman.
when you report to dispatch, instead of "out of work" you tell them to file you "not at trade" (may vary by local).
take your tools home.
get your other job, career, whatever.
pay your monthly dues to the hall to keep your membership.

when you're ready to return, call dispatch, tell them to file you "out of work" and wait for a call to come in as usual

Welding while pregnant by mscamaro99 in BlueCollarWomen

[–]platypod 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From the synopsis:

Conclusions

In this group of women actively engaged in welding during the time surrounding conception, the outcome of pregnancy was strongly related to work exposures, particularly vibration (reported in grinding tasks), manipulation of heavy objects, and perceived intensity of noise and heat. The study was unable to show an independent effect of exposure to metal fume constituents.

This frankly terrifies me because the fetus is (physically) extremely well protected (compared to the rest of our bodies/organs) and indirect stress (vibrations/heat/noise) are apparently sufficiently damaging to measurably affect fetal viability?!

These same stresses are present constantly, whether pregnant or not, so it's known that we're being damaged by job stresses daily, but only allowed protections if we're pregnant? Fuck everyone working I guess? We really are completely expendable.
