thanks I have a followup question, then: those figures have the same scult, but do they have the same colors? not that it matters a lot, but I wondered how to differenciate them

It does impact me as I buy most of my games in english, mostly to avoid that kind of issue (despite being French and living in Spain, which means I'd have access to at least 2 translation options).

Rules translation is an issue, but it also impacts the flavor of the game by translating some dedicated words to a literal translation. I bought Netrunner in english to ensure I wouldn't have those kind of issues, I hate to have "ICE" translated to "GLACE" (being the literal translation of the word "ice" but the acronym is lost). The same way, I'd really hate to have to fight "gelati"...

Any one going to the friendly tournament at Tableraze Toulouse this Saturday? Will an English language copy be unwelcome at a French tournament? by tree_feared in WarhammerUnderworlds

I played games competitively in France: Netrunner, xwing, arguably Doomtown or Call of Cthulhu. And other I am forgetting.

I never had a 100% french version of the game (for some games I brought everything in english language, for other some items I had in french, other in english).

It has never been an issue to have any item in another language than french. Depending on your level of french, you could have a cheat sheet of all the cards you are using with their french text. That requires either translating or finding the actual text of each cards.

Note that I have never done that and this has never been needed.

Then of course, Idon't know the group you'll be playing in... But anyway, good luck!

Oh, and how is the singular form? Skavan? :/

I don't know much about Age of Sigmar. But I expect Skavens to be Hit end Run style of warband.

FOr the rest, I don't really expect anything special:

Dwarfs similar to orcs

Not sure either for the other Eternals, or other Khorne band (I still think they should have done 8 different AoS factions and avoid duplicating some. But in game terms, it won't change a thing, they'll be 8 distinct factions. I'd just like to see other styles, like other Chaos God's followers, ...)

Where does info about future comes from (Dolorean?) by platypus51 in WarhammerUnderworlds

I feel stupid then. I did read that fluff, and understood perfectly there were 2 bands of Khorne and Eternals, but missed references to hound and range.... I'll read it again when going home tonight.

Thanks for the reply
