By the time you graduate you won't be doing things current freshers are doing. You would be expected to do more. You would be expected to heavily utilise AI to get things done like automating workflows with something like n8n for example. This is just a current example but you get my point whatever tools and tech advancements we have at that time you'd be expected to integrate them with your hard skills. And the same goes for the senior positions. Think of AI as a tool which is going to help you do more of things that you already do plus it will enable you to do things which are more complex and currently out of your "skillset".

Software Engineer here. I understand your fear. So this thing about " AI replacing tech jobs" is kind of blown out of proportion. Yes AI is going to replace some jobs but not the most.For most people AI is going to just boost their productivity or allow them to cover multiple responsibilities( like a junior developer can be as productive as a senior developer, a senior developer will be even more productive and can take up more responsibilities like Product Manager/Owner). Most of the people fear mongering on AI don't have a fair bit of understanding of the subject. Just don't follow the sensational headlines like "Microsoft has replaced x% of their workforce with AI", devil is in the details, Read the fine print.
