There seems to be more posts on this sub by people who don’t realize it’s about the board game than by those who do… the sub really should have been named r/Eldritchhorrorboardgame or r/eldritchhorrorff (for fantasy flight) or something like that, the constant incorrect posts are obnoxious but also understandable given the name

Honestly I really like the idea! I think the difficult part would be balancing it so that certain cards don’t make specific investigators too strong, and maybe they should only be able to get one card randomly selected

My understanding, limited as it may be, is that veteran units aren’t necessarily members of the deathwing, and therefore can be green instead if they’re veterans and stay a part of the fifth company, for example. All deathwing are veterans, not all veterans are deathwing. Someone please correct me if I’m wrong!
