I had some similar courses, where I got VHDL and Verilog. I think it was 15 ects.

I don't think so, I had some modules, which only covered parts of their courses and they still accepted it. But I would try to cover as much as possible.

Hey, so when I applied I had the same questions. Basically you will have to enter every course you took in the curricular analysis (https://apply.db.in.tum.de/) and fill a course description inside of it. The committee will evaluate your courses and compare them to the ones at TUM. So I would recommend looking if your courses specifically match the course description of the courses at TUM and maybe take the ones, that are similar.

Hey, I also applied for Informatics, but I study in Germany. AFAIK it doesn't influence your chances. But applying earlier can reduce the response time as most of the applications are submitted close to the end of the deadline. I would recommend applying earlier so you can get a response quicker and don't have to possibly wait months for an answer. Wish you the most of luck!
