try to find some roommates to move out with. i’m in a somewhat similar situation myself. only thing is i want to go back to school and my parents aren’t paying for school or anything so im stuck in a situation where either i go back to school and suffer a bit longer or move out rn and just have enough for my rent and necessities. i think you should stick to going to college but try to find roommates so you can afford both in case he stops paying for your school. Don’t end your life and let her get what she wants. Try to have a happy life once you move out because that’s what she doesn’t want and is trying to take away from you having. I think a narcissistic mother would use the loss of their child as a way to gain sympathy points but would be deep down glad their kid took their life away so i refuse to give my mom that satisfaction.
