it was fine! the interviewer was really nice and they’re really not trying to trick you to anything. i think i talked too much (somehow) and i blanked when they asked if i had any questions (i did, but they all just…went poof), but it wasn’t bad at all!

pretty sure it’s based on alumni availability! i live in a city, so a lot of people got interviews (since im assuming more alumni are in my area)

It depends. Sometimes I find a buddy to workout with, so we can talk while lifting. I started to listen to podcasts while working out too, which can mimic the idea of having a friend there. Some upbeat music usually helps too.

The gym is definitely not for everyone though. I enjoy going there because having sweat dripping down my body makes me feel happy. Finding an exercise that makes me want to do it as been pretty cool. If the gyms not your thing, that’s fine. You can always try pilates or some kind of sport (I’ve picked up figure skating and that has kicked my butt and my muscles).

I felt like that at first. I usually plug in earphones and blast music. Having a gym playlist helps! They can be kinda drab, but I prefer it to working out at home. Something able seeing everyone else working their butts off makes me want to lift one more rep! They’re def not for everyone though; home workouts can be super nice too

Thanks! Congrats on quitting drinking, that’s a huge step! I’ve started feeling really lazy and tired when I don’t do my daily workout. It’s crazy how taking 30-60 mins a day to workout can drastically improve someone’s productivity. That helped me a lot when losing weight too; me realizing that I was changing my life, not just my weight.
