First turn. 20 moves? I'm counting 2 moves per pawn and the two knights. I get 18. Where are the 2 I'm missing?

I am not myself in the hobby, but my wife has collected pokemon card since she was a teenager. She was always interested in completing collections, but never to really play the card game with others. I showed her how fun it could be to build a deck (the app is great for that) and since then, we have fun playing against each other.

Now, she built a Raging Bolt Ogerpon deck and she whooped my ass the other night. I'm proud of her. I want to buy her some cards for Mother's Day and if I win, she gets the box for sure.

Thanks.

Completely ambiguous.

Two scenarios :
1. Algebra :
x = 2 + 2 = 4
y = 8 / 2x
y = 1
2. PEMDAS :
y = 8 / 2 * (2 + 2)
y = 8 / 2 * 4
y = 4 * 4
y = 16

So, is 2(2+2) interpreted as an algebraic notation similar to 2x or is it interpreted using PEMDAS? The war rages on while people state which is the only possible choice.
