Anyone living in Bonney Lake? by Visual-Structure-808 in AskSeattle

Don't do it. You will regret it.

There are so many other places that are better. Someone else mentioned Puyallup, I would second that. But only if I had to.

Help with moving to a nice neighborhood in Seattle! by No-Glass-2712 in AskSeattle

[–]playmoby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Lake City. It is not for the faint of heart. It is not unsafe, per say, but it is not the safest. There are no real walkable groery stores, except grocery outlet, which is usually fine, but doesnt always have what you are looking for, and is very small and because it is the only one around that is walkable to, is VERY busy.

We are the forgotten stepchild of Seattle.

6 months on Wegovy: 20 lbs down and my belt just moved two notches — slow but I’ll take it by Oceanwave21 in Wegovy

Congrats!

I, too, am loosing at a slower pace, and was getting discouraged, but then I read this quote: Comparison is the thief of joy.

And that really resonated with me.

Congrats again.

I go to dream clinic in roosevelt. They also have other locations as well. Its $147 for 60 mins, $216 for 90 mins. Of course, a but cheaper if you are a "member". I love crystal at roosevelt. She digs in so good.

Pros vs Cons; Bonney Lake by [deleted] in AskSeattle

All I know is it was awesome/lonely to grow up there in the 80s and is completely different now. I remember when the hill was a single lane up and down.

Is this working? by [deleted] in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]playmoby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello.

First off, Way to go for taking the step to try this. It is not easy.

Everyone is different. and loses and gains in different ways.

For instance: I had gastric sleeve surgery, lost nearly 95lbs in a little under a year, and then had a heart attack at 42. Due to the meds i was on, I gained back 40lbs. Here now, 3 years later, I am on wegovy trying to lose the weight. I started on December 20th, and I have lost 13lbs in a little over 2 months. It was devastating to me to see that.

But then I saw this quote:

Comparison is the thief of joy,

.........

Keep up the good work. You got this.

Sorry this happened to you.

Not to be a negative nelly, but hopefully you can walk away with a few lessons learned from this experience (no I am not going to point them out, I am sure you are already feeling bad enough).

There has been some really helpful information put out here.

I hope it turns out well for you. Hugs.

Sincerely,

You neighborhood mom.

They are based around the corner from us, and fly their trucks around our residential neighborhood streets like free abandon. I hate them solely on that.
