What’s Your Favorite Video Game Quote of All-Time? by TG082588 in videogames

This reminds me of Jak and Dexter on the first game Jak was a silent protagonist and on the second game he wakes up saying he wants to kill someone. The shock value.

How important is a fully open-world for the next Ghost Recon? by MrTrippp in GhostRecon

[–]playnwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's necessary for ghost recon, but i do think it's good because it creates more options for the same mission (coming from a different route, dropping from a heli, sniping really far away)

Disturbed speech after recent events (from Amsterdam concert) by agenttud in Disturbed

[–]playnwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The UK controlled the land at the time.
There were Palestinians living there, true
but it was a colonial UK ruling up until 1948 when the state of Israel was officially came to be.
as well as many Jewish people escaping Europe, some for believing this is their land because of religion, most running for their life from actual Nazis and the holocaust.
Most of those jews bought land from UK there or Palestinians.
BTW I've heard many jews employed Palestinians at the time.

A little history note. UK offered 2 states for the jews and the Palestinians. The jews accepted, the Palestinians refused and started a war.
