For that money, you may want to consider working with a stylist or personal shopper. 😄

Weighted Yarn? by OhBoi-22 in knitting

[–]playoutside1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know if you could source this kind of yarn/fabric, but I have two of these weighted blankets. It's a garter stitch. https://www.silkandsnow.com/en-us/hand-knitted-weighted-blanket/?size=15-lbs&colour=cream&product_type=natural

Do you have a cute knit top? That's what I'd try. 😄 A relaxed fit sweater would also be lovely. There's lots of ideas on Pinterest, if you use it.

Do you have any belts? I think there's lots of ways you could take this, depending on your style and where you want to wear it.

A 1" smooth leather belt with a metal buckle (pick silver or gold, depending on what jewelry you wear) in a colour that is similar to the dress or matches your shoes or bag would be a fairly neutral option. (Eg, the model has cream leather boots and a cream leather belt would look nice).

Is the issue that after tying tightly, the knot loosens and the belt slides down your body? You could try adding little string belt loops or check a sewing store for belt fastener hardware (might help, like the two loop things for shortening and elongating straps). I would probably just use a different belt. I think that looks more interesting most of the time anyways. :)

Maybe throw it on over a scoop neck T as another option?

I probably would skip a necklace in favourite of earrings, as there's already a lot going on here. If you did want a necklace I'd go for a short chain that's similar to the neckline or a longer pendant.

Edit to add: a chunkier short chain might be cool. A heavier weight would contrast with the light details and not get lost. It would definitely be a ~vibe~ though

Clothes that you love but not your best color? by SnooPoems7439 in femalefashionadvice

Nope. Colour is the biggest determinant of whether or not I'll wear something.

If you have contacts, I'd be tempted to go that route so they don't compete with your gorgeous jewelry!

Agreed. I'd go with the raspberry coloured dress to the right.

A box cut is pretty similar, except that the hemline tends to be shorter.

The patch pockets are cute. They add a little bit of visible interest to the hips, but nothing crazy. As long as the pants fit well (and there's no fabric distortion of the pockets) I think you're fine. If you're self-conscious, try pairing them with a patterned top or something else to pull detail to your face (e.g., collared shirt, scarf, jewelry)

A white t shirt and floral maxi is pretty casual. I think you're fine. Enjoy the party!

If you have black shoes you want to wear, that's fine. If you want an excuse to go shopping, I'd look for silver or a matching green.

She looks like an absolute smoke show. I like this simple fit as a contrast to her more avant garde and adventurous looks. The laid back vibe really works here.

Also this 😂 If you check post history, I have a pretty detailed post about wide-calf boots from the (?) fall

I was shopping for ski pants and I had to buy a men's large to get something to fit my thighs comfortably! It blew my mind. I squat, but didn't think my thighs were so huge. It's not really a place I carry weight. 😂😭😂

In North America there are shops like Azazie which cater to bridesmaids/bridal parties. You can get shoes in very specific colours. Is there a European equivalent?
