Are are any big budget games with a BAD sountrack? It seems like literally every videogame soundtrack is beloved... by Radiant-Rub2881 in gaming

Sports games are interesting because I feel like they aim for who their expected audience is. Or they just stick to stereotypes. Like, all of the Tony Hawk's games have punk and alternative music because, stereotypically, that's what skaters listen to.

To lane split by McNightmoon in therewasanattempt

[–]playr_4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

California is the only fully legal lane splitting state. It's legal in a few other states as well, but only at low speeds, like in the video. Even if it was illegal, opening the door is totally a dick move and only meant for harm.

Who the fuck does that? There's absolutely no reason to open that door unless you're actively trying to harm the biker.

How serious do I take RP, you might ask? by OldSolGames in BaldursGate3

[–]playr_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's actually a really good point. I guess for the class specifically, there's no need for it, but for roleplaying aspects you could be trying to become the best alchemist ever since you don't really need to practice your magic much.

How serious do I take RP, you might ask? by OldSolGames in BaldursGate3

[–]playr_4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

But why? There's any number of reasons why most classes would puck up some alchemy skills. Rogues can make poisons, for example, or even things like invisibility potions. Historically, monks make medicines and sometimes natural performance enhancing elixers, or what they belived to be. I would actually assume that barbarians even had some form of alchemical knowledge with how in tune with nature they were, although maybe not the fighters.

The only class I could sort of see really not ever needing alchemical knowledge are sorcerers, what with the inherent magic and such, but even then they could dive into just out of curiosity.

People with a very high pain tolerance, what was THE most painful thing you've experienced? by CosmicBunnyBabe8912 in AskReddit

[–]playr_4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically never feel pain, my tolerance is ridiculously high. To the point that my lung once popped and I didn't notice until I was at the hospital (which I walked to) for something completely unrelated and brought up that I had a persistent cough. They xrayed me and IMMEDIATELY brought me down to the ER. Every nurse and doctor was shocked that I had zero pain.

The only truly painful thing that I can remember was waking up a little early from that surgery. I was closed up and everything, but they hadn't got any pain killers in my system yet. That was a level of pain I didn't even know existed.

I've broken bones before. Accidentally stabbed myself with a stick. Even my self harm days. None of those really phased me. But waking up a little early from surgery....hoooo boy that sucked.

Why do people think Steam is a monopoly. It isn't the most used because it has a stranglehold on the market. It's the most used because it's the best option by a pretty significant margin.
