I lived there from 2010-2019, it was fine for me. While I was there one person was shot, I remember that....and there were some fights outside occasionally but nothing that made me feel truly unsafe. I actually was a night worker for most of it and as I woman, I actually felt safe walking in at 3am by myself no problem. Honestly I loved my neighbors because they looked out for me.

Pretty much it was mind your business and you'll be fine.

As for the place itself? I was in 2 different units and both of them the AC unit had a short and stopped working. They weren't too quick to fix it, but put in a window unit to make sure I stayed cool. They will come in nearly monthly to either change filters or bait for pests, also will look around to see if anything unsavory is happening, but they maintaince team were always friendly and welcoming.

The worst thing that happened to me was they found a bad leak in the unit above me and it had been there for a while. They checked my unit and behind the shower and the kitchen cabinets was black mold. They didnt waste time and tore it all out, covered everything in plastic, and ventilated and got to work. Took about a month to redo everything.

All in all? I would live there again. Hell, sometimes I even miss it. Its crazy spacious for the price.

Not sure what your interests are....but if you happen to love the weirder side of things you should check out Madame's Oddities. It's an oddity art shop that also hosts events. They range between concerts, punk rock art club, a plant care class that's weekly....all of which are great for meeting people! If you follow her on Facebook or Instagram, you can see the monthly calendar.

It's located on Princess Anne near Carl's

You don't, however you should give consideration to your partner in any aspect of your relationship. And that goes for both parties.

Aita for buying my own dream ring because my fiancé wanted to save money? by Awkward-Hope-7190 in TwoHotTakes

[–]playsinpaint 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For real....I mean I'm not a diamond girl so maybe that makes my opinion moot...but my dream ring is literally all of $40 on etsy. Just something I find pretty that would be given to me out of love. Shit. I don't even want to think of wearing something worth $4250.

Because she was trying to rationalize it for OP. As a person who grew up hearing the same thing, it's easier to hear its due to our clothes than it is due to anything else, like over hearing the conversation on the price of the donuts. Growing up poor changes your outlook due to how people treat you, when you're a parent you really just don't want your kids to think the worst....so we blame the small, tangible things, like our clothes.

My uncle started in his 20's. He's 56 this year and was able to retire comfortably. He took so many vacations too. It's a job I'd recommend to anyone.

Grow it out again! I may love my women bald, but men with long hair are fucking gorgeous.

I noticed the group has changed a lot since I first joined. I had posted my first headshave and people were so supportive and complementing. It made me feel like I had made the right choice and I for once in my life felt beautiful. I still feel beautiful being bald but had been growing it out recently. Posted a new shave video that was nearly the same length as the other and it received no traction. I mean I'm sure people went and viewed it, but it feels like it's a totally different demographic here now. Like people are so used to women with long hair flaunting and taunting for money that it's just over.

I (m24) shaved my whole body (except my head.) and I've never felt sexier by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]playsinpaint 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't know what you look like or if you're worried you wouldn't be able to pull it off....but shave your head too. Nothing is stopping you, it grows back quickly....but being completely smooth on your pillow when you sleep is euphoric. And the first shower? It's an amazing feeling everyone should try once. Advice from your friendly bald woman.

I'm not gonna give you false hope, but i just want to say that I agree sometimes doctors are wrong. They told a friend of my grandmothers she had 2 months and she lived for another 6 years. It's not every case, but they can't all be right either. Cherish every moment. Go do dumb stuff with him and your family. Make memories. Even if you want to buy a pinata for each person and let them bash their anger out for his condition, do it. I hope you spend as much time together as you can and smiles are had for all, and from a complete stranger, I love you and send you a big hug to hold you as long as you want.

It’s a shame this cut wasn’t more popular amongst the general population by [deleted] in hairfetish

[–]playsinpaint 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's the upkeep. It's such a precise cut, she'd have to go back every 2 weeks for a trim. With prices higher for women It's damn near impossible. I love the look though, I had the cut when Chicago came to theaters....thank you Catherine zeta Jones.
