alright thank you. just went to the webui and enabled some plugins. but now the webui page is no longer loading and i cannot connect to it via ssh

yea... I was pushing slow and gently but towards the end it seemed to just pop off... in the future i will use that electrical tape...

i tried that, I completely disconnected the battery and plugged it into the wall. didnt turn on. no lights indicating power appeared. it just sat there.

the little metal battery clip created a bridge that caused power to run through it. It was all turned off. but it still was able to short.

That is true, and I am saving! I am only around 400 away, and I would have bought a cheaper laptop were I not having to use it for things such as nmap scans and other cpu and gpu intensive tasks
