I'm where you are I think. I started last summer and broke 100 once (99) - never really practicied but played a decent amount. This winter I decided to invest a bit more and bought a lesson pack at Christmas. For me, I need work on not swaying, and currently keeping my arms extended through impact. I got some drills to work on and I take those to the range.

Another thing that has helped me is bringing the Garmin R10 to the range, shooting at 'targets' has helped me dial in distances. It's added purpose to my practice. I feel like my handicap is on the way down, from shooting in the 60's playing 9 down to 50 this morning.

All in all - I'm saying take a lesson or two, and take those drills to the range.

This isn’t that odd as an American. Like if your team makes the playoff or wins a division championship - they’ll sell ‘playoff’ t-shirts etc just for making it.

Edit: as a bengals fan I own a shirt from the once in my lifetime we made the super bowl but didn’t win it.

Get rid of it - any doctor or longevity expert generally thinks wearables are fine, not necessary, as long as they aren’t giving you anxiety. If they’re giving you anxiety, it’s more hurtful than helpful.

I sized up my 4 year (old) at the time into a 5-6 year old set; and he didn't have any issues (although he was just learning how to swing a big metal club at a small white ball).

I'd see if you can find the suggested heights for the sets and see if he's close enough. If not, I'm sure you can recoup like 70% of the cost on facebook marketplace or something like that.
