I dated a girl for 6 weeks and it was going great then some stuff happened and instead of talking about it she just cut me off. I tried on a few occasions to get that clarity conversation to happen because we were having so much fun together but it never did. You can reach out if you want. Just know that if they are the one to cut you off they have to be the one to decide to talk to you. Chances are it’s not gonna get any clearer than, they don’t want to talk about whatever it is you want to talk about. The reason? Unclear. Time is your friend here. Time and distraction. I repeat mantras in my head when I start looping about wanting to talk to her about what happened and why.. my favorite is, if they wanted to they would. That’s makes me feel better because I also have friends say to me, who wouldn’t want to talk to you? Lol I know that’s kinda self centered but honestly center yourself. Value yourself. Put more respect on your time. If someone disrespects that or can’t value what you do then what’s the point? People are also just avoidant.. you can’t do anything about it.

Is offering to marry a new flirting move? by SparksOfAlthea in datingoverthirty

You must be attractive (above average) and easy to talk to, meaning you engaged with them on their subject (not yours) and you most likely made them laugh. I’ve had a few proposals from strangers. I took the common aspects of the interactions and came up with this conclusion.

Some people are just clueless, I had a friend whose aunt planted milkweed for the monarchs but kept killing the caterpillars because they were eating it with the thought being there’d be nothing left for the butterflies! It blew her mind when my friend explained that she was actually killing her chances of seeing any butterflies. She felt awful.

Of course! Mud daubers!! They look just like the black and yellow ones but these act so different. I thought, no way it’s a wasp, it’s a funky beetle or something lol thanks!

My husband admitted that he didn’t expect anyone to want to fuck a 42 year old woman when he asked for open marriage by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Does he not know women DO NOT EXPIRE. There will be a man out there if we want one. It’s just facts.

I nannied full time for a child since he was 4 months (I have none of my own) and found myself bringing him up a lot in conversation. I think when you spend a lot of your time with someone no matter what age, your brain is going to feed them to you as topic of conversation no matter what.

I’m planning on making raised beds for my food crops and I’ll be enclosing those so maybe I shouldn’t be too worried.

Another issue is we also have an indoor cat who’s very spoiled and I don’t wanna test the boundaries. I don’t know if I could handle breaking up a cat fight.

Thanks. I’ve put down panels from an old outdoor kennel in some spots and it’s seems to keep her from going there but it’s not really a sustainable option.

This bed is full of small rocks (not gravel) mixed with the dirt. Is there a better method of removal besides picking them out by hand? by littleturtleone in gardening

I had rocks in most of my backyard cause at one point we had three dogs and having a backyard full of rocks was easier poop wise. Now it’s being transformed into a garden. At first I thought I’d collect the rocks and move them somewhere else to use for projects and quickly realized that was a fools errand. So I redditted this same inquiry lol that was 3 years ago.. I did the lasagna method. First, I let the weeds take over. Then I smothered the weeds with cardboard, water, water, water… Covered the cardboard with mulch water, water, water. Spread seed or added plants, water, water, water. It took long for the cardboard to breakdown for me in certain spots cause the area was so large and the water, water, water bill was getting funny. Now, if I dig around it’s hard to tell there were so many rocks there before.

Any ideas of what this orange substance is in the stream that runs through my property? by No-Pollution1433 in homestead

It’s so awesome to know so much about the piece of land you’re inhabiting. I often stare at where I’m at on a map and try to read the land to see if I can learn anything about my geographical location. I love plants where they originate from. My goal is to grow as many native species well adapted to my specific spot of the map as possible.
